Tejas Agrawal

I am a Research Fellow at Microsoft on the PROSE team, where I’m working on pretty cool projects. I graduated from BITS Pilani, Goa Campus with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

During my academic journey, I collaborated with Prof. Preethi Jyothi from CSALT, IIT-Bombay on advancing Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) systems for low-resource accented speeches. I also worked with Senior Prof. Ashwin Srinivasan, Dr. Lovekesh Vig, and Dr. Gautam Shroff at APPCAIR, studying the behavior of Large Language Models in argumentative contexts.

My research interests span a broad spectrum, including Natural Language Processing (both text and speech), Program Synthesis, Representation Learning, Domain Generalization, and Low-resource Learning. I’m always curious about exploring new domains and ideas in machine learning and how they can be advanced.
